Both the cities of Calgary and Edmonton share similar and affordable rental pricing for apartments. On average, bachelors go for monthly rates in the low $700s, 1 bedroom apartments in the mid $800s, 2 bedrooms in the low $1000s and 3+ bedrooms in the low $1200 range. Camrose is a lower cost option that is close to Edmonton with prices around $200 lower per month, whereas Okotoks is a slightly cheaper alternative to Calgary
